An institution founded by the employees of the Fairchild:

       A Schlumberger Company, now Fairchild Semiconductor (Phils.), Inc.

  • The Cooperative was formed primarily to provide lending and other services that would uplift the quality of life of its shareholders and benefit the community.
  • It started from a meager $5,730 paid-up share capital infused by the company with only 40 members as Incorporators  and registered with the Department of Agriculture, Region VII in September 18, 1981 under the name of Fairchild Employees Multi Purpose Coop.
  • During the first 3 years of operation, the thrust was more of savings and the only available lending portfolio was the regular loan.  The 1st chairman of the Board of Directors was Mr. Villamor Torres and  the office was located inside the premises of the company and manned by 2 staff.
  • In September 1991, the cooperative was re-registered with the  Cooperative Development Authority under the name of National Employees Multi Purpose cooperative which by then Fairchild was also acquired by National Semiconductor company.
  • After 20 years since date of registration , the term expired in 2001 and registered in October 7, 2004 as Fairchild Cebu Community Credit Cooperative (F4C).
  • In 2005 attained the P100M asset and introduce various products and services resulting to accelerated growth of the cooperative.
  • In 2008, achieved the biggest growth in over 4 years with 1700 members, P165M in Assets and posted  the highest surplus at P19.5M.
  • F4C was awarded as the no.1 in Share Capital investment and top contributor to the CETF (cooperative education training fund) of the Natcco Federation last April 2010 during the NATCCO General Assembly held in Davao.
  • A whooping 17% Return of Assets which is considered a benchmark in the cooperative sector.
  • A 30% reduction in PAR30 loan delinquency from 11% to 7.7% and expected  to be in the level of 5% by the end of 2011 which is the standard goal of all cooperatives in the country.
  • Attained the highest surplus at Php21.7M over the last 6 years.  An increased of 42.7% compared to FY09 which resulted to a high 12.05% Dividend rate and 13% Patronage refund released to the members last February 11, 2011.
  • In April 2011, CDA approved the amendments to change the coop 019s name from F4C to FCCMPC (Fairchild Cebu Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative).
  • In June 2011, the coop’s name was changed from F4C to FCCMPC (Fairchild Cebu Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative), and became an OPEN TYPE Cooperative
  • 1st Branch was opened in June 2015:  FCCMPC-Knowles Branch.  This branch is strictly for the regular employees of Knowles Electronics Phils Inc.
  • August 2016: CDA Gawad Parangal 2016 awardee  – 1st Runner up for “Most Outstanding Cooperative” (Large category) in Region 7 
  • November 2016: ISO 9001:2015 Certified under TUV Rheinland
  • December 2017: Awardee of 2017 Villar Sipag Awards on poverty reduction (1 of the 20 organizations nationwide)
